Christopher Kelly Full-Stack Developer

I build software people actually use.

Full-stack web and mobile, from the C#/.NET API to the UI. One of my apps runs a home-health nurse's daily schedule and routes in the field.

NurseTrack

Scheduling and route optimization for a home-health field nurse, running in production every day.

A React Native field app and React admin dashboard that plan a nurse's day, optimize driving routes, auto-track mileage, and use AI to read wound photos and intake documents. Built to solve a real problem at the home-health agency where I work, and in daily use now.

ServeSync

The commercial rebuild, a multi-tenant .NET 9 + Azure platform for home-health field work.

NurseTrack re-architected as a sellable product: an ASP.NET Core API on Azure with a multi-tenant ownership model, a pay-calculation engine, server-side route optimization, audit logging, and a type-safe React Native client. Built for HIPAA compliance from the ground up.

About

How I got here, and why it makes me a better engineer.

I came to software the practical way: by building something that had to work. Working in home health — handling scheduling, billing, and mileage tracking — I watched a field nurse lose hours every day to logistics. So I built NurseTrack to fix it. It has run in production every single day since, planning a real nurse's schedule and routes in the field.

That project turned a job into a calling. I'm now formalizing the self-taught foundation through the True Coders software engineering bootcamp, going deeper on C# and .NET, and re-architecting NurseTrack into ServeSync — a multi-tenant commercial platform on ASP.NET Core and Azure.

The career switch isn't a gap to explain away — it's the reason I build the way I do. Years of solving real operational problems taught me to start from the user and the outcome, ship things that hold up under daily use, and sweat the details that make software actually dependable. I'd rather build one tool people rely on than ten demos that never leave localhost.

Let's build something.

I'm looking for an entry-level software developer role where I can keep shipping software people rely on. If you're hiring — or just want to talk shop — I'd love to hear from you.
